“Not tonight, honey”. We’ve probably all heard it, or said it. At least once. Since we know that desire isn’t a straight line, it’s only natural that at some point, a partner might want sex while the other doesn’t. That mismatch is common, and totally normal. But that doesn’t mean the “no” always lands softly. Sometimes, it stings. We might feel rejected. And that heavy feeling is also common, and also normal.
